We made it official yesterday! The Dags are proud owners of 6.5 acres and ready to start construction next week!
All the thanks go to the team that made it happen - Zach Zander of Zander Realty, Jon Ritter of Ritter Mortgage Group and Ann Davidson from Key Title, Inc! It was a race to the finish, but the team made it happen!
We also had the opportunity to meet the land owner and learn a little bit about how he came to own the property.
Closing wasn't the only exciting milestone we completed this week! The land owner gave us permission ahead of settlement to start clearing the lot, which kept us on schedule to dig the foundation this week.
It was great to chat with the land owner about the progress we were making with the tree clearing. Despite how much we love the lot, it was always a little difficult to visualize how everything would look when it was cleared! It is so open now, and after Tuesday we should have the house lines re-staked.
John was able to spend part of the week on-site with Travis, from Green Team Industries, for the clearing activities. Travis was great to work with! We were very happy to use a local business and were pleased with the service we received!
Quinn spent all of day two on-site with the guys! Someone had to bark at the track-loader and the log trucks! (And keep things on schedule!)
We had a busy week and are so excited to finally get things moving!
